What is Cloud Insights?
Cloud Insights is a tool to govern cloud resources from multiple places both on and off-prem. It's common for companies to grow and aquire other companies which makes it very hard to tell what cloud resource is still being used and by who. In order to budget there needs to be a way to see what you have and make sense of it before taking any cost saving actions. This is what Cloud Insights does.

I worked on a feature for reserved instances, analytics and policy creation. I was able to iterate and test my designs before handing them off to engineering.
What I did
I helped define requirements and the user journey
iterated on wireframes and prototypes with my stakeholders
created a script with tasks for user testing
recruited and performed user testing
analyzed the results and shared them with the team
revised the designs and handed specs to engineering

I was on Cloud Insights for 2 quarters before transitioning into SAM. I was able to work closely with the team to uncover hidden assumptions we got wrong on the testing and deliver all my designs validated and on time to engineering. I delivered designs for AWS integrations, custom policies and reserved instances.
